At first my son thought it was kind of girly, conceptually, but once he tried it, he liked it. Still living on the kitchen table.

My grandson loves this so much. We had to glue in the backdrop pieces as they kept coming out-but that was not big deal. Also, we glued the characters into the little metal nuts so they don't fall out while skating. It is super cute and will be enjoyed for many winters to come.

We sent this to our 4 yr old grandson who is obsessed with gears, motors, batteries and anything mechanical. He was thrilled to see the components and put it together immediately. Works great and made a perfect pre-Christmas winter toy.
